2. Inauguration Function of English Literary Association

7. Mary Kom’s Interview Screening for B.A. Part-1 Students

8. Screening of Documentary Film: “Speeches at the World’s Parliament of Religions”
Date: 27/09/2023
The department screened the documentary film “Speeches at the World’s Parliament of Religions” by Swami Vivekananda, commemorating his historic address at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893. Through this screening, students were exposed to the timeless message of universal brotherhood, religious tolerance, and spiritual harmony espoused by Swami Vivekananda.
9. Online Guest Lecture – “English for Career Development”

Mr. Prafull Kose, an esteemed faculty member, delivered an insightful guest lecture on the role of English language proficiency in career development. 10. Certificate Course in Spoken English

The English Department introduced a Certificate Course in Spoken English to equip students with the essential communication skills required for academic and professional success. 11. Daily Listening Activity: “AIR MORNING NEWS”

To enhance students’ listening comprehension skills and expose them to authentic English language usage, the department initiated a daily listening activity featuring the All India Radio’s morning news broadcasts.
